Learning & Capacity Development

Building Capability That Lasts

From needs assessment to learning design, knowledge transfer and evaluation, I develop capacity-building approaches grounded in operational realities and designed for practical application.

Needs Assessment

Identify operational, institutional and learning needs through stakeholder consultation, field observation and analysis of existing capacities.

Learning Design

Translate identified needs into learning objectives, curricula, training formats and practical tools adapted to professional and institutional contexts.

Knowledge Transfer

Combine training, facilitation, peer learning and learning-by-doing to support the transfer of knowledge into professional practice.

Evaluation

Assess learning outcomes, participant feedback and practical application to inform improvement and future capacity-development activities.

Systemic Coaching & Transitions

Areas of support

  • Professional & career transitions
  • Leadership & decision-making
  • Organisational change
  • Complex situations & systemic dynamics

How I Work

A systemic, evidence-informed, participatory and implementation-oriented approach — connecting research, policy and practice across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Systemic thinking

Examining multi-level interactions, learning and adaptation processes rather than isolated interventions.

Evidence to action

Translating research, operational needs and policy priorities into structured, implementable frameworks and tools.

Participatory by design

Multi-stakeholder facilitation, co-construction and shared ownership of priorities and directions.

Field-grounded

Direct field and programme experience in Senegal, Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Algeria informs every engagement.
