Contribution: Designed and facilitated a strategic reflection process for a regional vaccine-manufacturing initiative, using Design Thinking to structure inputs from multiple stakeholders into shared priorities.
Output: Consolidated stakeholder perspectives into structured strategic directions and actionable areas for further development.
Market & Value Chain Development Consultant
Contribution: Conducted sector and value-chain analysis combining desk research and field consultations; mapped the ecosystem, market opportunities and constraints, local capacity needs and partnership options.
Output: Recommendations for market development, pilot activities, stakeholder engagement and local technical support.
WP5 – Short-Term Improvement Plan
Contribution: Co-authored and led the Short-Term Improvement Plan, translating the national capacity assessment into a multisectoral Safe System programme for Ouagadougou.
Output: Project prioritisation, institutional and capacity analysis, implementation-barrier assessment and seven Terms of Reference covering institutional strengthening, infrastructure, enforcement, education, post-crash response, PTW regulation and monitoring & evaluation.
Road Safety Audit – PTW Expertise
Contribution: Managed VIAS's road-safety audit component within the Greater Algiers Urban Transport Plan supported by Enabel, providing specific powered two-wheeler expertise.
Output: Contributed to translating road-safety findings into priorities for action within the wider urban mobility planning process.
Preparing a PhD at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne / IRD on how powered-two-wheeler user safety practices emerge and evolve within local mobility systems in West and Central Africa. A systemic, field-based research-intervention approach, with planned fieldwork in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire and the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville).
From needs assessment to learning design, knowledge transfer and evaluation, I develop capacity-building approaches grounded in operational realities and designed for practical application.
